it is going to dig south just a little bit. over the north for today, we will have the slight possibility of a few scattered showers over the north bay. if it i get in a little bit closer, you can see how the clouds have taken over the north way. sliding over the south bay and we have partly sunny skies and because of it. not as cool this morning. but the possibility of rain is going to stick around for the next day or two. you can see the line is 90 miles to the north. it is the north bay that we will see the possibility of maybe a few sprinkles today. the rest of us not as warm. we will have a look at the temperatures and the how much i expect to look at it coming up. call for help for the

family of a los angeles dodge ares fan stabbed to death in san francisco. they are heading back to the ballpark looking for answers. allie rasmus is live for us with one father's public plea. >> the father and the victim's brother and sister will be out here at at&t park. they claim to have a press conference in front of the willie mays statue. could be as early as 10:00 a.m. possibility later than that. they are here to ask the family for help. they believe there are giant's fans out there that may have cellphone pictures that ended jonathan denver's life. he is a dodger fan and was in town last week. and police say there was an altercation after the game outside the ballpark between denver, his friends and some giant's fans. he was stabbed to death.

six blocks away from the at&t park. the man suspected of killing denver is michael montgomery. he is now back at home in lodi. prosecutors say they didn't have enough evidence to charge him with the crime. montgomery's mother said he is relieved and he is still really messed up about what happened. what he did. what he saw. how could you get that out of your head. montgomery's mother believes her son acted in self-defense. denver's family do not think that is the case. they want justice for the man accused of stabbing their son. they will be out here to ask the public for their help in gores some evidence. >> allie rasmus, ktvu. they are holding another fund raidser for brian stowe, he was attacked outside of the

park in 2011. ten-dollars from every ticket sale will go to the brian stow fun under. antioch police are investigating an incident that left one man dead and another fighting for his life. police say the men were shot multiple times. a 24-year-old man from oakley tide of his injuries. another is being treated at the hospital. police have not released any information for the motive or the suspect. >> a man is being rescued after being rescued from a ravine. they called rescue crews to help rescue a map that was stuck on ridge month drive. that is in east san jose. he was taken with major injuries and still not clear how he ended up in the railroad convenient. now, to our continuing coverage of the budget battle in washington. some political analysts say it is more than likely that there will be a government shut down.

to police. it is last wednesday when wednesday, a dodgers man was in town. about 90 minutes after the game ended denver, his friends and giants fans got into some kind of altercation. he was stabbed to death six blocks away from the ballpark. >> prosecutors say they didn't have enough evidence to charge the man suspected with the crime. the man here. 21-year-old michael montgomery. and they didn't speak to the media on camera but the mother told the stockton newspaper that she believed her son acted in self-defense. he is relieved and he is really messed up about what happened. what he did and what he saw. how could you get that out of your head. she went on to say it is traumatizing. i am sure he is relieved he is not in jail. but he doesn't think it is over. because it is not over.
